SCS 2000

In 1999 the City of St. Clair Shores turned to Universal Time to develop a theme for their new Millennium Clock. UTC initiated the project with a nautical concept and delivered the SCS 2000 Sail Clock sculpture in five months to meet the deadline for the Year 2000 Millennium Celebration.

The 27' tall aluminum structure features two GPS-synchronized clock faces that fit into the nautical theme and provide the community with completely accurate and reliable timekeeping.  The unique project showcases UTC's ability to create and deliver only the finest clocks to be found anywhere today.
