The Bay City Clock Tower is driven by the world's finest Impulse-Driven Clock Motors. These motors are extremely powerful and accurate and can withstand gale-force winds and extreme conditions of ice and snow. Each motor is controlled by the electronic Master Clock and yet is designed to count the hours and minutes after a power failure has occurred to allow for automatic restoration of the correct time.
